Basic and Action Research for Teachers

Description

This course covers the principles, concepts, and processes in formulating and conducting basic and action research in both classroom and school contexts. This also includes the fundamental and general concepts in designing and developing research, particularly its common contents and processes. The course is typically designed for basic education teachers (in both public and private schools) as well as for those students taking an education degree program (regardless of the specialization), and thus adhering to the standards and guidelines set by the Philippines’ Department of Education. At the end of this course, the participants are expected to develop and implement a full-blown basic or action research either in the classroom, school, district, or even at the entire school’s division level.
